Description

A rare Ghibli Museum exclusive clock, inspired by the round “Submarine Window” with Soot Sprites found inside the museum near the Totoro reception desk.

Each clock is meticulously hand-crafted by Italian ceramic artist Antonio Zaccarella, who combines traditional Japanese Raku ware firing techniques with modern Italian artistry. His unique glazing method incorporates delicate surface crackles (kan’nyū), turning the ceramic into a true work of art that perfectly recreates the texture of the museum’s submarine window.

Both a functional timepiece and an art collectible, this piece comes with a removable stand so it can be displayed as either a table clock or a wall clock. A true treasure for serious Studio Ghibli collectors, blending Japanese tradition with Italian craftsmanship.
